The following Outlook 2010 email setup guide explains the process of creating an email account on your computer thats running Windows 7.
Make sure the email account has already been created in ‘Cloud Zone Control Panel’ before starting this guide. Follow the ‘Creating an Email Account’ setup guide and then return here when the new account(s) have been created.
In several places the term ‘yourdomain.co.nz’ is used, replace with your own purchased domain.
For example, Cloud Zone email accounts use ‘cloudzone.co.nz’.
Cloud Zone email accounts can be used in POP or IMAP configuration. For quick reference use the settings below when entering in the custom port numbers.
POP3
Incoming server port number: 110
Outgoing server port number: 26
IMAP
Incoming server port number: 143
Outgoing server port number: 25
Step 1

Open Outlook. Select ‘File‘ in the top-left of the program, then click the ‘Add Account‘ button.

Select the ‘Manually configure server settings or additional server types‘ from the Auto Account Setup step, and then click ‘Next’

Select the ‘Internet E-mail‘ option when choosing your Service type, and then click ‘Next’.
Step 4

Enter in your User Information. Select the ‘Account Type’ either POP3 or IMAP.
Add Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server Details: (mail.yourdomain.co.nz), Username (your email address) and your Password, and then click ‘More Settings’

A new window will open, click on the ‘Outgoing Server‘ tab. Select the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication‘ option. Then select the ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server‘

Now click on the ‘Advanced‘ tab. Under Server Port Numbers, set ‘Incoming server (POP3): 110‘ and set ‘Outgoing server (SMTP): 26‘. Also make sure that the SSL option is turned off. Click ‘OK‘ to confirm settings
Step 7

You should now be back on the ‘Add New Account‘ window. Click the ‘Test Account Settings‘ button for Outlook to test your entered settings. If all settings are correct click the ‘Close‘ button

Your new email account is ready to use in Outlook
