The following iPhone email setup guide explains the process of creating an email account on your iPhone with iOS7.

Make sure the email account has already been created in ‘Cloud Zone Control Panel’ before starting this guide. Follow the ‘Creating an Email Account’ setup guide and then return here when the new account(s) have been created.

In several places the term ‘yourdomain.co.nz’ is used, replace with your own purchased domain.
For example, Cloud Zone email accounts use ‘cloudzone.co.nz’.

Cloud Zone email accounts can be used in POP or IMAP configuration. For quick reference use the settings below when entering in the custom port numbers.

Incoming server port number: 110
Outgoing server port number: 26

IMAP
Incoming server port number: 143
Outgoing server port number: 25

Step 1

Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars - iPhone iOS7 Email Setup Guide

Go into Settings App and choose ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’

Select ‘Add Account’

From the list select ‘Other’

Under the mail heading select ‘Add Mail Account’

Complete the Name, Email, Password and Description fields, and then select ‘Next’

Enter Cloud Zone Incoming & Outgoing Mail Server details - iPhone iOS7 Email Setup Guide

Add Incoming Mail Server Details: Hostname (mail.yourdomain.co.nz), Username (your email address) and your Password.

Add Outgoing Mail Server Details: Hostname (mail.yourdomain.co.nz), Username (your email address) and your Password.
Then select ‘Next’

The application will verify your settings (this may take a few minutes). If asked, “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?”, select Yes. You may have to select ‘Yes’ twice

If you choose to setup your account with ‘IMAP’, you should see the above, select ‘Save’. If ‘POP’ or ‘IMAP’ was selected, your new account should be now be created

Under the accounts heading, select the newly created account

If IMAP, under the IMAP heading, select the account again. Then select Advanced (at the bottom of the page)

Under the ‘Incoming Settings’ make sure ‘Use SSL’ is turned off and the ‘Server Port’ is 110. At the top of the screen select ‘Account’ to go back to the previous screen

Under ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ select SMTP. Select mail.yourdomain.co.nz from the list

Under the ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ settings make sure ‘Use SSL’ is turned off and the ‘Server Port’ is 26. Select Done, and then select Done again to save settings
