The following MySQL Database setup guide explains how to create a Database through the ‘Cloud Zone Control panel’. If you’re installing WordPress you’ll need a database, and a Database User account before you start.

Step 1

Hover over Databases and click on MySQL - Creating a Database setup guide

First log into the Cloud Zone Control panel. Enter your Username and Password. Hover your cursor over ‘Databases’ and then click on ‘MySQL 5.x’.

Select either Create Database or Create User - Creating a Database setup guide

Click the button ‘Create Database’.

Step 3

Enter in Database name - Creating a Database setup guide

Enter in the Database Name and then click Save.

Tip: We suggest using an underscore ‘_’ if you need a space in the Database name or Database User name.

Click the button “Create User“.

Enter in the Username Name and Password.
Under the ‘Databases’ heading you should see you new Database, select the check-box next the the Database Name. Then click Save.
